What is the relationship between photosynthesis and respiration?

The relationship between photosynthesis and respiration is that in photosynthesis, sugar is produced from energy whereas in respiration, sugar is burned for energy. Secondly, in photosynthesis, energy is stored but in respiration, energy is released. Photosynthesis occurs only in cells that have chloroplast while respiration occurs in most cells. Both occur in plants.

    My opinion: Photosynthesis is dependent with respiration. it is because photosynthesis gives out oxygen while respiration takes in carbondioxide. there has to be a balance other if there is too much oxygen oxygen toxicity may occur however if there is too much carbondioxide the earth maybe too hot that the ice caps in the polar regions will melt and it will cause disatrous effects.
